Please read these Fair Deal Movers - Terms and Condition carefully before using the services provided by Fair Deal Movers. By booking a move or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Fair Deal Movers provides local and long-distance moving services, including:
• Residential moving
• Commercial and office moving
• Specialty item moving
• Self-moving assistance
We do not offer international relocation services.
• All bookings must be confirmed in writing or via a signed agreement.
• A deposit may be required to secure the date and time of your move.
• Changes to the booking must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
• Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of booking.
• Any additional time, labor, or materials required will be charged accordingly.
• Fair Deal Movers accepts payment by cash, debit, or major credit cards.
• Full payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the move date will receive a full refund of any deposit.
• Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled move may result in a partial or full loss of deposit.
• Clients must ensure all items are packed and labeled unless packing services have been requested.
• It is the client’s responsibility to disclose all heavy, oversized, fragile, or specialty items in advance.
• Clients must ensure accessibility to the property (e.g., parking, elevator access).
• Fair Deal Movers is fully licensed and insured.
• We are not liable for damage to items that were not packed by our team.
• Claims for damage must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the move.
• No liability is accepted for items of extraordinary value (e.g., cash, jewelry, antiques) unless declared in advance.
• Fair Deal Movers is not liable for delays caused by weather, road conditions, traffic, or other circumstances beyond our control.
• We will make every effort to keep you informed and complete your move as efficiently as possible.
We reserve the right to refuse service if:
• There is a threat to the safety of our team
• Illegal or hazardous items are to be moved
• The property conditions are unsafe or unprepared for the move
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
